Favorite Finds Friday

Hello all! Here are some of the crazy cool things I came across this week:

Have you seen the Superhero bedroom that Cheri from I Am Momma...Hear Me Roar has put together for her son? Here is a little peek, but you have to head over there and see the entire room. I love how the quilt matches that awesome painting there.

The lovely Robyn from Craft With Me has offered 3 digiscrap kits and some overlays for download. My favorite one Retro Game Time. It was inspired by Princess Peach/Super Mario Bros. Can't go wrong with SMB, just sayin'. You should totally check it out:

The next place you just have to go is over to see Tara at EASY.  I'm not normally a bathroom snooper, but I know a lot of people who are and I would love to put this up in our bathroom:

"I hope you've enjoyed your peek through the medicine cabinet. Please help yourself to a treat."
There were a bunch more that I want to add, but I'm running out of time. I'm having a bit of an internet problem, so I will do my best to post the rest of them this weekend, but no promises since Sunday is my birthday and I may just be super lazy. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Favorite Finds Friday...on Monday

The weekend was super busy, so I got a little behind. Here are my Favorite Finds Friday picks:

This has got to be the cutest little shirt ever! Especially for nerdy geek girls like me. I will probably be making some of these for Scarlett but with different sayings. The Extraordinary Bree even gave a tutorial. :)

This isn't the first time I've shared something from Jennifer over at All Things Belle and I'm sure it won't be the last. She took a rather hideous interesting piggy bank and transformed it into this beauty. You have to go over to her blog and see the before picture, I promise.

There isn't a tutorial for them, but I thought these were some of the coolest cupcakes that I've ever seen! They remind me of Alice In Wonderland. Manni over at I Bake Cakes made these awesome Valentine cupcakes:

I always see things that I love over at Blue Cricket Designs, but this has got to be the neatest no soliciting sign:

I'm a sucker for warm fuzzies. This pennant from kojo designs would be fun for a nursery or children's room:

These ladies are so inspiring!

If I featured your project, feel free to grab one of my shiny new buttons up on the left!

Thanks for stopping by!

Favorite Finds Friday

I have seen so many amazing things this week, it was so hard just to pick a few! I'm trying not to pull from the big crafty competitions, since I'm sure you guys will see them all over. I've found a lot of inspiration from the blogs I follow in my Reader and from hopping around my favorite linky parties. Here are my Favorite Finds from this week:

Kimbo from A Girl and A Glue Gun made this adorable necklace from nylon knee highs and beads. I never would have thought of it.

The lovely ladies of eighteen25 used a bowl and a candlestick to make this cute Valentine Candy Dish.

Robyn over at Craft With Me had my favorite idea all week! She made a little love notes booklet to pass back and forth with her hubby. She has some super cute digiscrap freebies on her blog and hosts a linky on Fridays called Friday Finish It that you should totally link up to! I normally do, but didn't have anything finished to add this week.

I'm kind of in love with this throw pillow from Amy of Diary of a Quilter. I think it's so classy and simple. Love it!

I also love love love (!) this gift idea for the man in your life. Suesan of Frou-FruGal came up with Man Candy. You have to head over there and see what she put inside. I'm a fan of all things Duct Tape. Just sayin'.

I'm amazed by all the crafty people out there.

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. There will very likely be a part 2 of this post sometime this weekend.

Favorite Finds Friday

Before we get to all the super crafty awesomeness that inspired me this week, I have to apologize for not posting a feature yesterday. We'll be back on schedule next week. Princess was really sick on Wednesday, one of those nasty stomach bugs (thank goodness it wasn't a respiratory nightmare). Then, because she loves her Mommy so much, she gave it to me. Wonderful gift, right? I'm still a little under the weather, but not as horribly sick as I was yesterday, so I'm back. I didn't even check Facebook all day. Craziness. As a side note, if you'd like to be featured on one of these Thursdays, shoot me an e-mail and I can add you to the schedule. :)

Now, take a look at these:

Check out this Spirograph Art from Polish the Stars:

I bet I could use that technique to decorate some cute shirts for my Princess or my nephew.

I fell in love with this clock. Amanda from Crafts by Amanda posted it over at Sew Dang Cute Crafts. Can you believe she started off with paint chips? So neat!

I'm always looking for adorable and easy clothes to make for my daughter, so when I came across this Ruffly Dress over at Make It and Love It I knew I had to add it to my to do list and share it with you:

Not to make this a totally girly Friday, but have you seen this adorable Girly Felt Treasure Map over at Making the World Cuter?

Can you see the adorable little gnome and the unicorn in the pink forest? Too freakin' cute! And if you're looking for a treasure map for the little boy or tomboy in your life, she also has a Pirate Map and Mario Map that are just as cool.

Hope you enjoyed this week's post! I'll be back on schedule on Monday, until then have a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!

Favorite Finds Friday

It's Friday again, so here are my favorite finds this week. If there is any interest, I may make a button. Leave a comment and tell me what you think. This week I'm going to show off some of my favorite crafty finds, then I'm going to share some of the amazing things that I would love to make my own version of. Here goes:

This one is from last week, but I didn't see it until after I had published the post. I will totally be making myself a pair of these awesome Comic Book Shoes from Jess over at Just A Geek Named Jess:

Kimbo over at A Girl and a Glue Gun really made a statement with her photo display:

I'm a fan of anything involving paint chips, so this Paint Chip Mosaic Wall Hanging caught my eye over at Creative Passage:

I'm a reader. Seriously, I can't even tell you how much I read. I don't have a dedicated e-reader, but my smart-phone has 3 e-reader apps and I select purses based on whether I can fit books in them. Some people might say I have a problem... Anyhow, one of my favorite books of all time is Pride and Prejudice so when I saw this Valentine's printable over at A Lemon Squeezy Home, I had to snag it and share it with you:

I would probably keep it up year round though.

You should totally go check out these blogs. All of these ladies are super talented!

Here are the things that I want to make a variation of:

Check out this amazing bookshelf:

The Olivier-Dolle book shelf
Take a look at this Paint Box blouse from Anthropologie. Wouldn't this be fun to make and wear?:

For $98, really?

Those are just a few of the many wonderful things in Blogland (and the interwebs) this week. Hope you liked them as much as me. Feel free to head over to those blogs and show some love. :)

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

How Cool Is This Friday

I don't know if I'm going to stick with the name, "How Cool Is This" Friday, but for now it will do...
Anyhow, hello! Today I'm going to share some of the projects that I've seen around Blogland that are super cool and inspiring. Go check them out!

First up: How cool are these etched glass pans? I haven't tried etching myself (yet), but I'm definitely going to have to now! Kimbo over at A Girl and a Glue Gun added these hilarious phrases to hers:

Belle over at  All Things Belle made this super cool 'Stache Clock (that is also for sale at her etsy shop):
Care over at Obsessively Stitching made this beautiful Valentine's quilt:
This next one is amazing. Suzy from Suzy's Artsy Crafty Sitcom made this Faux Metal Wall Art from toilet paper tubes.

These are just a few of the neat things that I found this week. I hope you like them too.
